Web Site Design and management
I first designed a web site and uploaded it to a server back in 1998. It was for an educational service called the "Educational Computer Centre" based in the London Borough of Havering. Just a web presence and general information about the service. We think the "Educational Computer Centre" was one of the first, if not the first, established in Europe to support the development of Information Technology in schools. First set up in The Royal Liberty School which had established an electronc computer in the school as early as 1965.1998. The same year that the first PC virus, Brain, starts to spread, Space Shuttle Challenger explodes 73 seconds after launch, The Phantom of the Opera show opens in London and Rutan Voyager, an experimental aircraft, flies around the world - nonstop, without refuelling in 9 days, 3 minutes and 44 seconds.
This was followed by many other educational web sites, family web sites, designs for local community clubs and businesses.
The 'New Dimension Choir' web site involves adding rehearsal audio to the web site on a weekly basis that is both downloadable and available to play in the browser. This audio is split into three or four part harmony to allow the members to practice their own parts. Some samples are included below.
